Color Movement Game (4 Years)

Purpose of the Activity Suggestion:

  • Learning colors while moving
  • Improving coordination and attention skills
  • Releasing energy and having fun

🧺 Required Materials

  • Colorful cards or papers
  • Open space or hall
  • Simple music player (optional)

🪄 Activity Process

  1. Identifying Colors (1 minute)
  • Select a few colors from the cards: red, blue, yellow, green
  • Assign a movement to each color:
    • Red → jump
    • Blue → squat
    • Yellow → turn
    • Green → walk with arms open
  1. Performing the Movement (6–7 minutes)
  • Show the card to the child or say the color
  • The child should immediately perform the corresponding movement
  • If you want, play music to match the rhythm
  1. Free Play (1–2 minutes)
  • Allow the child to practice their chosen colors and movements
  • Finish in a fun and energetic way
